Bill
Dutcher is a seldom-published writer who would like to be
rich and
famous, but not for the same thing. He is working on the
former as an independent oil and gas producer in Oklahoma
City, and
on the latter as the creator of Fictoids. After receiving
a BA in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, he served
in the Navy, worked briefly as a newspaper reporter, then
drifted
into the oil and gas business. He began writing Fictoids in
1997, as comic relief from the stress of his high-risk day
